6. Search Routes (data connection required)
In the search screen you can search routes in different ways:

- Quick Search: The quick search option searches for routes depending on your position (GPS coverage required). You can search for “Routes Nearby” or “Routes with starting point nearby”.
- Advanced Search: You can manually enter the search criteria, no GPS coverage is required:
- Standard: You can search by one or more keywords, by location and you can define the type of route (cycling, walking, car and bike ...).
- by id: If you know the ID of a specific route, you can use this number to immediately download the route. You can get the route ID in the web address of the route on the routeviewer of routeyou.com. For example: http://www.routeyou.com/route/view/3752/cycle-route-barcelona-bicycle-tour. This is the webaddress for the "Barcelona bicycle tour." The part highlighted in bold is the Route ID.
The search result is always shown as a list with 10 routes per page. By clicking on one of the results, you’ll get a short description of the route and the possibility to download it. It might be that some routes may not be downloaded due to the restrictions of the route owner.
7. Route list
The menu option shows you the list of stored routes. The route list is divided in two:
- Active Route: in this section you will see the activated route, or it will be empty if no route is activated.
- Route List: Displays all the routes stored in Ulugh, except from the active route. The visible routes are always shown on top.
Both the active route as the routes in the list are selectable, and when you click on one of them, you will get the summary of the route.
Menu buttons
To show the menu buttons in this screen, you have to select a route. According to the state of the selected route, you can use the following tools:
Play Route: Enables the selected route and opens the mapview centered on the area of the route, the enabled route will be shown in red. This function also enables the notification function, which means that when you're near a point of interest on this route, you will hear a notification and the POI information will appear. You can also call the POI information by clicking on the icon or by bringing the icon to the center of the map, depending on the Ulugh version.
Stop Route: Disables the active route and the notification function.
View ON: Makes the route visible on the map, but does not focus the map on the route area. You can make as much routes as you want visible with this option. The visible maps will be shown on top of the route list.
View OFF: Disables the visible route.
Fit: Makes the route visible, brings you directly to the mapview and centers the map in the route area.
